Refined Logo Concepts

Font Discovery

Because KenKen Productions values excellence and seeks to create a movement that is built to last, I wanted the logo’s typeface to be bold, elegant, and sleek. I noticed that the Client was attracted to think serif fonts, so I chose The Seasons for the logo.

Designed by Elena Genova, The Seasons is a thin font with elegant serifs. The curves of the capital “K” are natural and unique, adding a nice flow to the text. To complement The Seasons, I chose Lora as the secondary font because of its upright nature. Similarly to The Seasons, Lora is a widely accessible font and can be found on the free version of Canva, making designing branded collateral seamless for KenKen Productions’ team members.

Iconography

The various petals on the sunflower symbolize the idea that many parts make up a whole. Because KenKen Productions values community and the power of a shared purpose, the sunflower communicates that KenKen Productions is a company that is rooted in collaboration.

Color Scheme

To adhere to the themes of elegance and a creative ecosystem, golden yellow, metallic gold, black, and white will be KenKen Productions’ primary brand colors. Emerald green and deep brown will serve as accent colors.
